Company E, 3rd Regiment, Confederate Engineers, is an education oriented, historically accurate reenactment group of the American War between the States period. Our impression is based on the well researched, original Co. E, 3rd Regiment, that provided valuable engineering, and infantry support throughout the Shenandoah Valley of Western Virginia.

We portray the lifestyle, drill, and overall bearing of the Confederate Engineer soldier, in late 1863, early 1864.
This portrayal is in a manner consistent with this time period and presented in a way that is informative, educational, and enjoyable to both the participant and the public.

Company E rosters for March, 1864.

This years classes  included: Map Making, Reconnaissance, Weapon maintenance in the field and complete breakdown, Telegraph, Signal Flags, Mounted Engineer;  In Depth Review of Skirmish Drill and On The Right By File Into Line.

Classes were followed up with a practical application exercise.

2007 Co. E Xmas party held December 8th at HQ.
We dodged most of the rain that day, though the rain kept QmSgt Teague from riding horses.
